Impact McTyer was competing for the nickel corner spot throughout camp, but ultimately lost the job and was reverted to a reserve role. With Benjamin St-Juste (concussion) unavailable, the 26-year-old saw his first extended action of the season in Week 4. If St-Juste is still sidelined for Week 5, then Darryl Roberts and Troy Apke will be the most likely candidates to step up.

Washington can also use a third safety instead of a third cornerback -- which allows Landon Collins, Kam Curl and Bobby McCain to all get on the field -- or they can put third-round pick Benjamin St. Juste at outside corner and slide starter Kendall Fuller to the slot for nickel formations. Still, McTyer reportedly had a great camp prior to suffering a concussion in the preseason finale, and he should have some kind of role once he's healthy.
