Off practice squad COVID-19 list Harris was restored to the Browns practice squad Tuesday after clearing COVID-19 protocols.

Impact Harris appeared in two games with the 49ers last season, but he was ultimately waived in the offseason. He then went to Buffalo during camp before ending up in Cleveland. He'll hope to stick around and work his way into a role in a currently banged-up Browns secondary.

Lands on COVID-19 list Harris was placed on the practice squad COVID-19 list by the Browns on Wednesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Impact Harris has bounced around with several teams since training camp, as he also had stints with both the Bills and 49ers. He since landed a job on the practice squad with the Browns but will be sidelined for at least a few days as works through the health protocols.

Impact Harris will return to team activities, and, considering the 49ers' secondary has a serious injury bug, there's a reasonable chance he gets elevated for Week 5.

Impact Harris spent the entire 2019 season on IR with a groin injury, and he failed to make the team's final 53-man roster before Week 1 of this season. He'll reside on IR until he's healthy enough to possibly earn a depth role elsewhere.
