Returning to Windy City The Bears signed Gordon to the practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Impact Gordon joined the Bears in early August as an undrafted free agent but was unable to crack the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He'll return to Chicago as a member of the team's practice squad and provide additional depth at tight end.

Impact Gordon played in the Bears' first two preseason games but failed to record a catch across those two contests. Once he clears waivers, the Northwestern product will explore his next options and attempt to catch on with a team in need of tight end depth.
