Impact Mordecai and the 49ers reached an injury settlement in early September after the 25-year-old quarterback reverted to injured reserve due to an undisclosed injury. He appears to be fully healthy and is attempting to catch on with a team in need of additional depth at quarterback.

Reaches injury settlement Mordecai (undisclosed) was waived after reaching an injury settlement with the 49ers on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Impact Mordecai was placed on IR with the 49ers on Aug. 27, which would've forced him to be sidelined for the season. Now that he's reached a settlement with San Francisco, the quarterback will be eligible to pass a physical and sign elsewhere in an attempt to play in 2025.
