Impact Brown was unable to practice all week due to a knee injury, and his next opportunity to play will be Week 15 against the Steelers on Sunday, Dec. 15. Impact Brown opened the season on the reserve/PUP list while recovering from offseason surgery to repair an ACL injury in late January. His 21-day practice window opened Oct. 7, and after practicing as a full participant in all three sessions this week, he's set to make his regular-season debut Sunday against the Giants. Brown played in 14 regular-season games last year and finished with 45 tackles (32 solo), three pass breakups, one forced fumble and a pick-six.

Impact Brown had missed the first five weeks of Philadelphia's 2024 campaign after tearing his ACL in the Eagles' Week 18 loss to the Giants in 2023, but it now appears he's nearing a return to the field. The Eagles will have 21 days to activate Brown to their active roster before he reverts back to the team's reserve/PUP list. When Brown is fully past his knee issue, he's expected serve as Philadelphia's No. 2 free safety behind Reed Blankenship (illness).

Impact This move isn't surprising, as Brown underwent surgery on his ACL in late January. It's not yet clear if the second-year safety will be ready for the start of the regular season, but he can be activated off the PUP list at any time in the preseason, at which point he'd be eligible to practice and participate in exhibition contests.

Impact Brown went through a mix of highs and lows after being selected 66th overall by the Eagles in April. He played a very minor role the first two games, then injured his hamstring in Week 3 and missed three contests. He returned as an important part of the Eagles' secondary, however, starting six of the team's final 11 games. He returned an interception for a touchdown in Week 17 but suffered a torn ACL in Week 18, an injury which could affect his availability for the start of next season.
