Impact Bowman's roster spot opened up after fellow tight end Kenny Yeboah (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve. Bowman is a third-year undrafted free agent out of Rutgers who has yet to participate in an NFL game. Yeboah's season-ending issue, as well as the absence of Tip Reiman (ankle), likely prompted the Cardinals' front offense to address the preseason depth at tight end.

Impact The Rutgers product signed with the Jaguars in April after going undrafted this past offseason. After failing to make the team's initial 53-man roster, he's been brought back to the practice squad. During Bowman's final collegiate season, he recorded just four catches for 24 yards.
