Impact McLaughlin was diagnosed with a concussion last Saturday. The center was not waived with an injury designation, meaning he has recovered quickly from the head injury. The 2025 undrafted free agent out of Ohio State will now be subject to waivers, and if he clears, he will become a free agent able to sign with any organization.

Cleared to play McLaughlin (undisclosed) was activated off the active/non-football injury list on Wednesday, the Bengals announced.

Impact McLaughlin signed with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent in late April. The 23-year-old was cleared to participate in practice after missing the start of training camp and will likely be fighting for a roster spot as preseason begins in less than a month.
