With Brandon Aiyuk activated off the COVID-19 list and Trent Taylor (back) logging a full practice Thursday, Cracraft could find himself down the depth chart anyhow for Sunday's game against the Saints, should he be healthy enough to suit up.

Impact Cracraft played a whopping 89 percent of the 49ers' offensive snaps in last week's loss to the Packers, finishing with two receptions for 13 yards on five targets. Even if the quad injury doesn't prevent him from suiting up Sunday in New Orleans, Cracraft will likely be in store for a substantial role downgrade with the 49ers having returned Brandon Aiyuk from the reserve/COVID-19 list. Kendrick Bourne (COVID-19 list) and Deebo Samuel (hamstring) could also be available to play against the Saints, in which case Cracraft may even find himself on the 49ers' Week 10 inactive list.

Impact During Thursday night's lopsided 34-17 defeat to Green Bay, Cracraft registered his first career start in 11 NFL appearances. The Washington State product was only able to compile two catches for 13 yards on his five targets against the Packers, but he's been added to the active roster as a depth option with the 49ers continuing to deal with a myriad of wide receiver injuries. Deebo Samuel is still coping with a hamstring issue despite being activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list last Friday, while Kendrick Bourne landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, necessitating the addition of Cracraft to the 53-man roster.
