Impact Taylor was waived by the Broncos on Sunday, but it didn't take long for the Purdue product to find a new home in Miami. He entered the league's concussion protocol during Denver's preseason finale against Minnesota on Friday, but it appears he's no longer in protocol and is on track to be available for Miami's Week 1 clash against Las Vegas on Sunday, Sept. 13. Taylor appeared in four regular-season games for the Broncos last year, logging two solo tackles while contributing solely on special teams.

Enters concussion protocol Taylor has entered the league's concussion protocol and will not return to Friday's preseason game against the Vikings, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

Impact Taylor appeared to sustain the injury while making a tackle. He was able to walk off the field under his own power before being taken to the locker room, where medical staff diagnosed the 27-year-old with a concussion that will keep him sidelined for the rest of Friday's exhibition contest. Taylor will finish his outing with one assisted tackle.
