Solid performance in preseason finale Gray caught three of four targets for 38 yards Friday in an exhibition loss to Cincinnati.

Impact Gray finished with the second-most receiving yards for the Eagles behind running back Carson Steele's 52. Gray dealt with a concussion in mid-August but was able to return and make one final case for a spot on the 53-man roster. He's likely a long shot to do so, however, given that he hasn't logged a regular-season NFL snap since 2022.

Catches two passes in exhibition finale Covey played 29 offensive snaps in Friday's preseason loss to the Bengals, catching two of four targets for 20 yards.

Impact Covey dealt with a hamstring issue in early August but was able to suit up for all three of Philadelphia's preseason contests. He caught five of eight targets for 44 yards and a touchdown during those games and also returned four punts for 38 yards. Covey hasn't done much as a pass catcher to this point in his NFL career, so his tough path to making the 53-man roster is probably more tied to his ability to return kicks.

Those were the first two catches of a quiet preseason slate for the 26-year-old. He's hoping to make the 53-man roster as a depth option at receiver.
