Secures future deal with Colts Perkins officially secured a reserve/future contract with Indianapolis on Sunday.

Impact Toward the end of the 2020 campaign, Perkins spent time with the Colts' practice squad and now has a future contract with the team. The 26-year-old didn't suit up for a game this year and will likely serve as a depth option in the backfield in the upcoming season.

Inks deal with Colts Perkins signed a contract with the Colts' practice squad Thursday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Impact Perkins bounced around practice squads last season, as well as logging 29 yards on 12 rushing attempt in four games with the Lions. Perkins will add a veteran presence and depth to the organization, as the team is currently set with Jonathan Taylor, Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines at running back.
