Impact Remigio will miss Kansas City's final two games of the 2025 campaign due to a knee injury. He logged 14 regular-season appearances with the team in 2025, in which span he mostly contributed on special teams, but did secure his only target for 21 yards. With Remigio and Tyquan Thornton (concussion) both having been placed on IR, Brashard Smith and Jalen Royals will be the favorites to take over as the Chiefs' top contributors in the return game.

Impact Remigio was held out of practice Tuesday and Wednesday due to a knee injury, and his official status for Christmas Day may not be known until the Chiefs announce their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. With Rashee Rice (concussion) and Tyquan Thornton (concussion) both on injured reserve, Remigio and rookie fourth-rounder Jalen Royals are slated for larger rotational roles on offense behind Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Impact Remigio spent the entire 2023 season on injured reserve due to a wrist injury that he suffered during training camp. He was unable to make the Chiefs' 53-man roster at the end of training camp in late August, but he opted to stick around and signed with the practice squad. Remigio was signed to the active roster in early December and made his NFL regular-season debut in Week 14 against the Chargers. He was mostly used as a return specialist in the eight games he appeared in across the regular season and playoffs, but he did play 30 offensive snaps in Week 18 against the Broncos. Remigio will look to improve during the offseason in order to earn a more consistent role in the Chiefs' offense for the 2025 season.
