Moves to COVID list
Paradis was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Impact
Paradis was already out for the season after undergoing ACL reconstruction surgery in November. His move to the COVID list could create a small delay in his rehab process for his 2022 return.

Undergoes successful surgery
Paradis successfully underwent ACL reconstruction surgery Thursday, and there's optimism over his availability for the 2022 season, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Impact
Paradis will miss the remainder of this season after tearing his ACL, but he should be back to playing at some point next season. Pat Elflein should continue to start at center for the Panthers with Paradis sidelined.

Placed on injured reserve
Paradis (knee) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Impact
Paradis was diagnosed with a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season, as previously reported. The move to IR therefore comes as no surprise. Pat Elflein (hamstring) is expected back this week and will likely take over the starting center job.

Out for season
Paradis (knee) was diagnosed with a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact
Paradis' worst fears were confirmed after undergoing further tests, and the Panthers' starting center will miss the remainder of the campaign as a result. This is a big blow for the offensive line, as Paradis is a huge asset for them. Sam Tecklenburg is expected to take over at center, though Pat Elflein is also an option once he recovers from his hamstring injury.

Will not return Sunday
Paradis (knee) will not return to Sunday's contest against the Patriots, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Paradis left Sunday's contest in the first quarter with a knee injury and will not return. Pat Elflein (hamstring) is inactive Sunday as well, so Sam Tecklenburg will have to take over at center for the remainder of the contest.
