INJURIES

On track to play Sunday Hibner (hand) was a full participant at practice Thursday.
Impact Hibner managed a full practice Thursday for the first time since he hurt his hand back in Week 5 at Atlanta, suggesting he'll more than likely be available in Week 7. Before getting hurt, he was operating as Baltimore's secondary tight end, filling a complementary role relative to veteran starter Mark Andrews.

Limited participant Wednesday Hibner (hand) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Impact Hibner had not practiced since sustaining a hand injury in the Ravens' Week 5 overtime win over the Falcons. The tight end's upgrade to limited practice in Week 7 prep is a significant improvement and could signal a return to the field as soon as Sunday's game against the Bengals.
OCTOBER 22 • ROTOWIRE
Not playing vs. Cleveland Hibner (hand) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Browns.
Impact Hibner was held out of practice all week due to a hand injury that he sustained during the Ravens' Week 5 overtime win over the Falcons. Per Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun, Hibner is not considered to be a candidate for injured reserve, so the rookie tight end could be back in action as soon as Week 7 against the Bengals. In Hibner's absence, Josh Cuevas and Nick Vannett are both in line for more snaps on offense while operating behind TE1 Mark Andrews.
OCTOBER 17 • ROTOWIRE
Misses another practice Hibner (hand) did not practice Thursday.
Impact Hibner injured his hand in Sunday's overtime win over Atlanta. While he managed to return to the contest, he has since missed the Ravens' last two practice sessions. Hibner will likely need to practice Friday if he hopes to avoid an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against Cleveland. If he can't get on the field in Week 6, Josh Cuevas and Nick Vannett would presumably see more targets behind Mark Andrews.
OCTOBER 15 • ROTOWIRE
Still dealing with hand issue Hibner (hand) did not participate at practice Wednesday.
Impact Hibner was able to play through the hand injury he suffered during Sunday's game at Atlanta and finish that contest, but it looks like it's still bothering him as the Ravens begin preparing for Week 6. He'll likely need to get back on the practice field Thursday or Friday to give himself a realistic chance to play Sunday at Cleveland.

OCTOBER 12 • Associated Press
Back in action Sunday Hibner (hand) has returned to action Sunday night against the Falcons, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Impact Hibner sustained a hand injury in the first half, but he has now returned to the field after the break. The tight end will operate as the No. 2 option at his position behind Mark Andrews for the final stretch of the contest.
OCTOBER 12 • ROTOWIRE
Dealing with hand injury Hibner (hand) is questionable to return to Sunday night's contest against the Falcons.
Impact Hibner suffered a hand injury in the first quarter, and his availability for the rest of the contest is now uncertain. In his absence, Mark Andrews will continue to handle the lion's share of the workload at tight end.
OCTOBER 12 • ROTOWIRE
Two catches in Week 4 win Hibner caught both of his targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 24-18 win over the Titans.
Impact Both Hibner and Mark Andrews played 37 of 64 offensive snaps against Tennessee, though Andrews ran 24 routes to Hibner's 10, as the latter is more of the blocking complement to Andrews in the pass-catching role. The fourth-round rookie Hibner has secured all five of his targets for 70 yards and a touchdown through four games.

Catches sole target in win Hibner caught his only target for 13 yards in the Ravens' 41-23 win over the Colts on Sunday.
Impact Hibner played 23 offensive snaps in the contest, shifting into the offense when the Ravens lined up for 13-personnel packages. The fourth-round rookie also played nine special teams snaps, displaying his versatility as a 6-foot-4, 251-pound tight end.
SEPTEMBER 15 • ROTOWIRE
Two catches to close preseason Hibner caught two of three targets for 11 yards in Friday's 41-3 preseason win over the Commanders.
Impact Eight different Ravens caught multiple passes in the rout as neither team used their starters, and Hibner worked with the first-team offense, catching one pass from Tyler Huntley and another from Joe Fagnano. Hibner, a fourth-round rookie out of SMU, is fighting for snaps and targets at tight end behind veterans Mark Andrews and Durham Smythe, with his main competition being fellow first-year player Josh Cuevas.

Blanked vs. Minnesota Hibner failed to haul in his two targets during the Ravens' 13-3 preseason win over the Vikings on Saturday.
Impact Both Hibner and Josh Cuevas were listed as the Ravens' starting tight ends Saturday while Mark Andrews and Durham Smythe did not play. Hibner couldn't haul in either target form Joe Faganano in the second half, though the Ravens offense as a whole struggled to just 193 passing yards. Hibner, a fourth-round rookie out of SMU, is competing against Smythe for the TE2 role behind Andrews, though Hibner will likely start the regular season as the third-string tight end. The Ravens' preseason finale takes place Friday against the Commanders.

Impresses in preseason opener Hibner brought in all five targets for 61 yards in the Ravens' 24-7 preseason win over the Eagles on Saturday.
Impact The rookie fourth-round pick wasted no time making an impact, recording a 29-yard reception on the Ravens' second play from scrimmage. Hibner added gains of eight and 13 yards on his next two catches, and the SMU product ultimately played into the second half. Hibner finished second on the night in all of receptions, receiving yards and targets for Baltimore, and it may not be long before he makes a case to usurp journeyman Durham Smythe for the No. 2 tight end job.
