Let go by Baltimore The Ravens released Williams on Wednesday.
Impact Williams opened up the 2024 campaign as one of Baltimore's starting safeties alongside Kyle Hamilton but ended up losing his spot to Ar'Darius Washington towards the end of the season. Williams will now look to catch on with a new team after having recorded 149 tackles (105 solo) and five interceptions across 32 games during his three-year tenure with the Ravens.

Loses spot in Ravens' rotation Williams played in 11 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 33 tackles (26 solo), two pass defenses and one fumble recovery.
Impact Williams began the regular season as the Ravens' starting safety alongside Kyle Hamilton. However, he lost his starting spot to Ar'Darius Washington, and after playing just one defensive snap between Week 11 and 12, Williams was a healthy scratch for the final five games of the regular season and for Baltimore's two playoff games. Williams signed a five-year, $70 million contract with the Ravens in March of 2022, but given his fallout over the course of the regular season, it's hard to imagine him being in Baltimore for the 2025 campaign.

Healthy scratch again Week 15 Williams (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup versus the Giants.
Impact Williams will sit out as a coach's decision for the second straight week. After starting in each of Baltimore's first nine games this season, the veteran safety has fallen out of the rotation while Ar'Darius Washington has taken hold of a starting role.

Inactive Sunday Williams (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Impact The safety only played on one defensive snap over the past two games. Williams played on more than 80 percent of the defensive snaps in nine of Baltimore's first 10 games but has lost playing time in recent weeks to Ar'Darius Washington.

Expected to play Williams is active and expected to play in Sunday's Week 9 matchup with the Broncos, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
Impact Williams was active for the Ravens' Week 8 loss to the Browns but ultimately did not see the field. He is expected to be back in his usual role at safety versus Denver.

Second-leading tackler in loss Williams racked up six tackles (five solo) and one pass defensed during Thursday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Williams played 100 percent of defensive snaps in Baltimore's season opener and finished second on the team in terms of tackles, after only star linebacker Roquan Smith. The starting safety figures to repeat an every-down role Week 2 versus the Raiders at home.

Limited in practice Williams (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.
Impact Williams returned to practice Wednesday after missing the past two games with a hamstring injury. The 2017 second-round pick has only played in three games this season but will look to be ready to go for Baltimore's game against the Seahawks on Sunday.
NOVEMBER 1, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Will sit out again Week 8 Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against Arizona.
Impact Williams sat out Week 7 against Detroit and will miss a second straight game Sunday. He wasn't able to practice at all this week, so his outlook for Week 9 is also shaky. Geno Stone will likely start at free safety for however long Williams remains out.
OCTOBER 28, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Won't play vs. Lions Williams (hamstring) is listed as out for Sunday's game versus Detroit.
Impact Williams will miss his fourth game through seven weeks Sunday, this time due to a hamstring injury he sustained in Week 6 at Tennessee. Geno Stone proved a worthy fill-in when Williams missed three of Baltimore's four games to start the season, so Stone will likely start again in Week 7.
OCTOBER 20, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Missing from practice Williams (hamstring) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Impact After sustaining a hamstring injury during Sunday's win over Tennessee, Williams was unable to practice to open the week. He'll probably need to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to have a chance to play in Week 7 versus Detroit.
