Over the course of the year, he's been more involved in the rushing realm (four carries) than as a receiver (one target) on his limited workload. For Kentucky in 2018 Bowden collected 67 receptions to nine rush attempts, but in his final collegiate season last year, he ran for 7.9 yards per carry on 185 attempts while only registering 30 catches.

Impact Miami's running game clearly runs through Myles Gaskin with Matt Breida as his backup, but it's encouraging to see the team slowly working Bowden in on offense. The rookie previously had one catch as a wide receiver in Week 2, so while his current depth role doesn't forebode fantasy production in the immediate future, a prospect with his versatility is worth monitoring in keeper and dynasty formats.

Impact The Raiders view their third-round pick as a running back first and foremost, but it isn't clear he'll be able to earn a Week 1 backfield role in an offense that already has Josh Jacobs and Jalen Richard slated for carries and targets. Wildcat packages would be one way to get the ball in Bowden's hands, perhaps mimicking what he did last season as an option quarterback at Kentucky. Bowden completed only 35 of 74 passes (47.3 percent) for 5.4 yards per attempt and three touchdowns, but his 185-1,468-13 rushing line helped Kentucky win six of its final eight games. He also caught 30 passes for 348 yards and a score, with all of his receiving production occurring in the first five games of the season before he moved under center full time. Bowden could eventually move to wide receiver if things don't work out in the backfield, and he also may get a look on kickoff and punt returns.
