Impact Murchison broke his foot during practice last October and wasn't able to return from IR, though he was designated to return ahead of the Rams' divisional-round loss to Philadelphia. The veteran defensive tackle now appears to be back to health and is slated to serve as depth along the defensive line after re-signing with Los Angeles in mid-March.

Returns to Rams The Rams re-signed Murchison to a one-year contract Friday.
Impact Murchison missed the entire 2024 season after suffering an arm injury prior to the season and then a foot issue the day he returned to practice in October. He's presumably going to be healthy enough for a normal offseason and will serve as interior defensive line depth for Los Angeles. Murchison has 44 career games of experience under his belt and has been with the Rams since being claimed off waivers from the Titans in December 2022.

Impact Murchison has spent essentially the entire season on IR -- he opened the campaign there due to an arm injury, then hurt his foot in practice the day he was activated and immediately went back on injured reserve. The veteran defensive end was designated to return Thursday and subsequently logged two full practices, but he isn't yet ready to see game action.
