Elevated ahead of Week 10 contest The Colts elevated Treadwell from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's matchup against Buffalo, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Impact This is Treadwell's first elevation of the season, and it corresponds with Indianapolis' top wideout Michael Pittman being ruled out against the Bills due to a back injury and a finger injury. Treadwell played in five game with Baltimore last season, recording one catch on three targets for 16 yards. The veteran receiver isn't likely to see much action on offense against Buffalo on Sunday, as the Colts' wideout corps will likely be led by Josh Downs and Alec Pierce, with Ashton Dulin, Adonai Mitchell and Anthony Gould also possibly ahead of Treadwell in the pecking order.

Staying in Indianapolis The Colts signed Treadwell to the practice squad Wednesday.

Impact Treadwell was unable to make Indianapolis' final roster but will stick around with the team on their practice squad. The 2016 first-round pick caught just one pass for 16 yards in five games for the Ravens last season and can add value on both offense and special teams if elevated to the active roster.

Doesn't make Colts' 53-man roster Treadwell was released by the Colts on Tuesday, JJ Stankevitz of the team's official site reports.

Impact Treadwell signed with the Colts in late July after appearing in five regular-season games for the Ravens in 2023. The 2016 first-round pick was competing in training camp for to stick around in a depth wide receiver role. Treadwell's best outing came in the Colts' second preseason game against the Cardinals, when he caught all seven of his targets for 72 yards. His experience should warrant him an opportunity to link up with another team in need of a wide receiver, either on the active roster or practice squad.

Inks deal with Indianapolis The Colts agreed to terms with Treadwell on Wednesday.

Impact After a five-game stint with Baltimore in 2023, Treadwell has found a new home in Indianapolis. The former first-round pick has played with five different teams over the last five seasons, with his best year coming in 2021, when he posted a 33-431-1 receiving line. He's expected to compete for a depth role in the Colts' wide receiver room as the offseason progresses.

Joins active roster The Ravens signed Treadwell to their active roster Saturday.

Impact The last of Treadwell's three practice squad elevations were used by Baltimore in Week 16, so he's been signed to the team's 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's affair. The 2016 first-round pick played all 17 of his snaps as a special-teamer on Christmas Day, and he'll likely assume the same role in Week 17.

Back to practice squad Treadwell reverted to the Ravens' practice squad Tuesday.

Impact Treadwell was elevated to the active roster before Monday's 33-19 win over the 49ers, but failed to record any stats while playing 17 snaps on special teams. The wide receiver will now have to wait for his next shot to join the Ravens for a contest.

Elevated for Monday's game Treadwell has been elevated to the Ravens' active roster for Monday's game against the 49ers.

Impact Treadwell is being elevated for a third and final time, meaning in order for him to appear in another game with Baltimore the team will have to sign him to the 53-man roster. The veteran hasn't played since Week 5, and he wasn't targeted in either of his other appearances with Baltimore this year. Zay Flowers (foot) is questionable for Monday's game, while starters Rashod Bateman and Odell Beckham are both fully available for the Ravens.

Uneventful 2022 season Treadwell posted six catches (10 targets) for 42 yards through six regular-season games during the 2022 season. He wasn't targeted in his lone postseason outing.

Impact Treadwell filled in when Tyler Lockett was out with a hand injury and logged an 85 percent snap share, but he posted just three catches for 26 yards. The 27-year-old receiver has played with four teams over the past four seasons. His best season was in 2021 when he posted a 33-434-1 line over 12 games with the Jaguars. He'll need to earn a roster spot in training camp wherever he lands next year.

Role evaporates in Week 18 Treadwell wasn't targeted and played just five offensive snaps in the 19-16 overtime win versus the Rams on Sunday.

Impact Treadwell combined for 101 offensive snaps and nine targets through the previous two weeks, but he spent most of his time on the bench in the must-win divisional matchup while Cade Johnson and rookie Dareke Young split the No. 3 duties. It's unclear how the snaps will be split in the wild-card game versus the 49ers on Saturday. Treadwell could be back in the mix, but it looks like head coach Pete Carroll favors Johnson and Young for now.

Big role again Treadwell caught both of his targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 23-6 win over the Jets.

Impact Tyler Lockett returned to the lineup but missed a major chunk of the game due to a leg injury, so Treadwell played 55 percent of the snaps. He handled an 85 percent share in Week 16. He appears to be the clear No. 3 in this offense right now because Marquise Goodwin (shoulder) is on injured reserve. However, Treadwell's role will be scaled back significantly if Lockett is healthy heading into Week 18 versus the Rams.

JANUARY 2, 2023 • ROTOWIRE

Significant role in Week 16 Treadwell caught three of seven targets for 26 yards in Saturday's 24-10 loss to the Chiefs.

Impact Treadwell was signed off the practice squad following Tyler Lockett's hand injury. He surprisingly finished second on the team with 62 offensive snaps, landing ahead of Marquise Goodwin, who missed most of the third quarter with a wrist injury. Treadwell's target share is appealing for fantasy purposes, but he'll likely revert to the No. 3 role if Goodwin is fully healthy in Week 17 versus the Jets.

DECEMBER 21, 2022 • Associated Press

Signed off practice squad Seattle signed Treadwell from the practice squad to the active roster Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Impact Treadwell has been elevated for three consecutive games with Dee Eskridge (hand) on injured reserve, catching his lone target for one yard across 29 offensive snaps. However, with Tyler Lockett (finger) also out now, Treadwell will get a spot on the active roster for the remainder of the regular season. He figures to compete with Dareke Young and Penny Hart for the No. 3 spot behind DK Metcalf and Marquise Goodwin until Lockett is able to return.
