Impact McGowan was let go by the Jaguars in late June, but he has now found his next opportunity with Miami. The wide receiver last appeared in an NFL contest in 2022, failing to log any offensive stats while playing in two contests with the Commanders. In all likelihood, McGowan will be battling with the likes of Anthony Schwartz and Je'Quan Burton for a practice squad spot with the Dolphins in 2024.

Tries out with Giants McGowan tried out with the Giants on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Impact McGowan has seemingly recovered from an undisclosed injury suffered in August that led to him being waived from Washington's injured reserve. The 23-year-old was one of three receivers the Giants worked out Monday alongside Damiere Byrd and Jalen Camp, as the team looks to improve an offense that's gone three straight weeks without scoring a touchdown.

Impact McGowan signed with the Commanders as an undrafted free agent in May and joined the team's practice squad after failing to land a spot on the initial 53-man roster. He saw two elevations during his rookie campaign, but he didn't see a target across 10 offensive snaps. With his new contract, he'll have a chance to compete for a roster spot throughout offseason work.

Impact McGowan made his second appearance of the season, as Dyami Brown (groin) and Jahan Dotson (hamstring) were both inactive Sunday against the Colts.
