Kylen Granson - NFL News, Rumors, & Updates

Healthy scratch for Week 6 Granson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts.

Impact Granson remains a healthy scratch, destined to play only when the Titans require additional depth at tight end. The team will once again roll with Gunnar Helm, Daniel Bellinger and David Martin-Robinson as the three active tight ends.

Inactive in Week 2 Granson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Philadelphia.

Impact Granson is a healthy scratch for a second consecutive game, and his next opportunity to suit up will come in Week 3 versus the Giants.

Lands in Tennessee Granson signed a one-year deal with the Titans on Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Impact The tight end finished the 2025 campaign with career lows in catches (seven), targets (nine) and receiving yards (40). Granson also played more on special teams than defense for the Eagles. The former Colt will now try to find a role with the Titans.

Finishes season with career lows Granson finished his fifth professional season with career lows in catches (seven), targets (nine) and receiving yards (40).

Impact Granson posted all those career lows despite suiting up for all 17 games this season, as he simply wasn't part of the Eagles' offensive gameplan. Most of his production came in the final week of the season with the Eagles resting their starers. He averaged just 0.2 catches for 0.6 yards in the first 16 games.

Goes without target again Granson didn't draw a target while playing two snaps on offense in Monday's 22-19 overtime loss to the Chargers.

Impact Since recording his third reception of the season in a Week 11 game against the Lions, Granson hasn't been targeted in any of the Eagles' subsequent three contests. He's logged just nine total snaps on offense during that stretch while Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra continue to work ahead of him at tight end.

DECEMBER 10, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Targeted twice in Week 11 Granson played 15 of the Eagles' 72 snaps on offense and recorded a four-yard reception on two targets in Sunday's 16-9 win over the Lions.

Impact Though he saw two more targets than fellow tight end Grant Calcaterra, Granson's 21 percent snap share placed him well behind Calcaterra, who was on the field for 47 percent of snaps. Granson has played in all 10 of the Eagles' games to date, but he's played more than half of the snaps on just one occasion and has recorded three catches for 10 yards on four targets throughout the campaign.

Blanked on Week 5 stat sheet Granson went without a target while playing 22 of the Eagles' 61 snaps on offense in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Broncos.

Impact Despite seeing his most extensive playing time of the season, Granson went without a look in the passing game for the third game in a row. Granson still looks like a strong candidate to match or exceed last week's 36 percent snap share in this Thursday's game against the Giants. The Eagles are expected to be without Grant Calcaterra (oblique) for Week 6, leaving Granson as the clear top backup to top tight end Dallas Goedert.

Second straight game with one catch Granson pulled in his lone target for five yards in Sunday's victory over the Chiefs.

Impact Granson was elevated from No. 3 to No. 2 tight end in the absence of Dallas Goedert (knee), which saw his offensive snap count jump from 17 to 33. He still finished with just a single catch, though, so it would likely take injuries to both Goedert and Calcaterra (who also caught just one pass Sunday) forGranson to have a shot at fantasy relevance.

Lands with Philadelphia Granson is signing a one-year contract with the Eagles.

Impact A 2021 fourth-round pick, Granson was the tight end of choice in clear passing situations for most of his tenure with the Colts, but he didn't get much playing time otherwise and scored just one TD in 62 regular-season games. He did have back-to-back seasons of 30-plus catches and more than 300 yards in 2022 and 2023, before sinking to a 14-182-0 receiving line in 2024. Granson may end up part of a rotation in Philadelphia if the trade rumors concerning Dallas Goedert come to fruition.

Reels in one pass Granson caught one of four targets for seven yards in Sunday's 26-23 win over the Jaguars.

Impact Granson was unable to get much going Sunday, earning four targets for the second straight week. After a quiet 2024 campaign, the 26-year-old tight end finished the season with just 14 catches on 31 targets for 182 yards and no touchdowns. Granson is set to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so the former fourth-round draft pick could be headed to a new locale in 2025 unless the Colts re-sign him to a new deal.

JANUARY 8, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Reels in three passes Granson caught three of four targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 45-33 loss to the Giants.

Impact Granson had a relatively quiet game Sunday, though his 34 yards ranked him third among Colts pass catchers in the contest. The 26-year-old tight end has caught at least one pass in just eight of the 16 games he's appeared in this season, as he has split snaps with fellow tight ends Drew Ogletree and Mo Alie-Cox throughout the season. Nonetheless, Granson will look to finish the 2024 campaign on a high note in a favorable matchup against the Jaguars in Week 18.

Not targeted against Titans Granson failed to record a single target in Sunday's 38-30 win over the Titans.

Impact Granson operated as the Colts' No. 3 tight end Sunday behind teammates Drew Ogletree and Mo Alie-Cox, playing just 19 of 62 offensive snaps while not being targeted in a contest for just the third time this season. The veteran tight end's limited usage and inconsistent production keep him far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 17 matchup against the Giants.

DECEMBER 25, 2024 • ROTOWIRE

Three grabs in loss Granson caught three of four targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 31-13 loss to the Broncos.

Impact Granson's three receptions, four targets and 47 yards were all season highs in each category. The veteran tight end played 27 of the Colts' 76 offensive snaps Sunday, behind Drew Ogletree (30) and ahead of Mo Alie-Cox (23). Granson's remains off the fantasy radar as he continues to play a limited role in Colts' passing attack. Indianapolis will host the Titans in Week 16.

Held catchless against Lions Granson failed to catch either of his two targets in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.

Impact Granson was a complete non-factor in the contest, failing to record a single reception for the sixth time in 12 games. The veteran tight end did, however, lead all Indianapolis tight ends in playing time, as he was on the field for 35 of the Colts' 55 offensive snaps Sunday. Meanwhile, fellow tight ends Drew Ogletree and Mo Alie-Cox played 30 and 23 snaps, respectively. Despite operating as the Colts' No. 1 tight end, Granson should not be trusted for fantasy purposes in a Week 13 matchup against the Patriots.

NOVEMBER 27, 2024 • ROTOWIRE

Just one reception in win Granson had one reception for four yards on two targets in Sunday's win at the Jets.

Impact Mo Alie-Cox had two targets as the Colts give few targets to tight ends and divide playing time fairly equally between three or four tight ends each week. Granson at least gets the most playing time in the passing game as he played on 32 of the offense's 70 snaps and went out on 18 routes, both which led Indy's tight ends.
