Signs with Philadelphia Evans signed with the Eagles on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Impact Evans will help fill the hole left at safety after C.J. Gardner-Johnson left to sign with the Lions. The 27-year-old played in 15 games for the Saints last year, making four starts and registering a career-low 29 tackles (17 solo). The 2017 second-round pick may compete with Reed Blankenship for playing time and potentially a starting spot at free safety.
