Let go Monday Taylor (undisclosed) was waived by the Vikings with an injury designation Monday.

Impact Taylor hasn't played since 2019, spending 2020 on the 49ers' PUP list before being waived with an injury settlement by the Titans in June 2021. Assuming he goes unclaimed on waivers, Taylor will revert to IR and be forced to miss the upcoming season, unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Vikings.

Fully recovered Taylor is fully recovered from a torn ACL suffered in Week 13 of the 2019 season, Jordy McElroy of USA Today reports.

Impact Taylor spent all of 2020 on the 49ers' PUP list, then was waived by the Titans with an injury designation after signing with them in the 2021 offseason. Now healthy, Taylor will work to make the most of his opportunity with the Vikings.

Joining Vikings Taylor (knee) signed a one-year deal with the Vikings on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Impact Taylor will join his third team in as many years after previously being waived by the 49ers and Titans respectively. The defensive tackle has not played since suffering a torn ACL in December 2019 but will get another chance with the Vikings whose new general manager, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, helped draft Taylor with San Francisco back in 2018.

Cut from PUP list Taylor (knee) was released from the PUP list by the 49ers on Tuesday with a failed physical designation, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Impact The 25-year-old suffered a torn ACL at the end of the 2019 regular season and moved to the PUP list in July, but the 49ers opted to part ways. Taylor apparently isn't fully recovered from surgery, so it's unclear when he may be able to sign with a new team.
