Impact Garvin's activation comes as the Packers are enjoying a bye week coming off their victory over the Rams. The second-year pro should be ready to return in Week 14 against Chicago. Serving in a rotational role in the Packers' linebacker unit, Garvin has 12 tackles and 1.5 sacks on the season.

Impact Garvin landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday and has apparently tested positive for the virus. It's not yet clear whether the linebacker is vaccinated, but he appears unlikely to suit up for Sunday's game against the Rams. If he's ultimately inactive, Tipa Galeai could see an increased snap count since the Packers' outside linebackers are banged up ahead of Week 12.
