Questionable despite full practice Wims (Achilles) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against Detroit.

Impact Wims has compiled two straight full practice sessions, but it appears as though he's still dealing with residual effects of his Achilles injury. If the third-year pro manages to suit up Week 1, he'll compete with Ted Ginn and Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) for snaps behind Allen Robinson and Anthony Miller.

Making big plays Wims has repeatedly beaten defensive backs for long receptions during training camp, Adam Jahns of The Athletic reports.

Impact With Allen Robinson (ankle) missing practice time, both Wims and Riley Ridley have been competing for a regular role in the receiver rotation. Although Ridley has also made a number of impressive plays, Wims has done so more frequently this month. Even though Ted Ginn is currently penciled in as the No. 3 receiver, if Wims keeps showing signs of a third-year breakout, he could begin to push for that job. For fantasy managers, he's a player to monitor as a potential waiver-wire add.

Impact Although Wims caught just 18 of 39 targets for 186 yards and a touchdown last year, the third-year receiver is primarily competing with Ted Ginn and Riley Ridley for a chance to play regularly in three-receiver sets. After being selected in the third round of the 2018 draft, it's entirely possible he needed a couple years to develop, and although he's not a player being selected in fantasy drafts, he's someone who could turn into a waiver-wire add if he lands a starting role.

Ginn and Patterson have more experience, while Ridley and Mooney are backed by more draft capital. A poor showing at training camp could push Wims off the roster.
