Impact Mayden appears to be healthy again after being waived from the Eagles' injured reserve Sept. 20. The third-year safety recorded six tackles while playing primarily on special teams (62 of his 98 total snaps) over four games with Philadelphia last season.

Impact After suffering a quad injury during Week 10, Mayden is recovered and will join the 49ers for the 2021 campaign. During the two games in which the safety participated, he played in 24 special teams snaps and had one solo tackle.

Impact Mayden was elevated as an extra player from the practice squad for Sunday's loss to the Saints and reverted to the practice squad after the contest. He'll be unavailable for at least the next few weeks due to the injury.
