Inks one-year deal with Pittsburgh The Steelers signed Jones to a one-year contract Monday.

Impact Jones appeared in 17 games for the Steelers last year, mostly operating on special teams. He recorded a career-high 10 tackles and figures to maintain a similar role in 2023.

Inks new deal Jones signed a contract with the Jaguars on Monday, Howard Balzer of SI.com reports.

Impact Jones spent time with the Jaguars, Rams and Steelers last season, appearing in a total of 12 games. He didn't join Jacksonville until late December and played in two contests for the squad before the season wrapped up. He'll work to earn a rotational role in the Jags' linebacker unit in 2022.

Lands in LA Jones was claimed off of waivers by the Rams on Wednesday.

Impact Jones was waived by the Steelers on Tuesday, but he quickly found a new home. He figures to fill a role primarily on special teams, but could also serve as a depth linebacker. In three games in Pittsburgh this season, Jones recorded three tackles.
