The Steelers signed Jones to a one-year contract Monday.
Impact
Jones appeared in 17 games for the Steelers last year, mostly operating on special teams. He recorded a career-high 10 tackles and figures to maintain a similar role in 2023.

Jones signed a contract with the Jaguars on Monday, Howard Balzer of SI.com reports.
Impact
Jones spent time with the Jaguars, Rams and Steelers last season, appearing in a total of 12 games. He didn't join Jacksonville until late December and played in two contests for the squad before the season wrapped up. He'll work to earn a rotational role in the Jags' linebacker unit in 2022.

Jones was waived by the Steelers on Tuesday, but he quickly found a new home. He figures to fill a role primarily on special teams, but could also serve as a depth linebacker. In three games in Pittsburgh this season, Jones recorded three tackles.
