Ruled out for Week 1 Adams (hip) has been ruled for Sunday's game against the Bears, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Impact Adams' debut with the Titans will have to wait until at least Week 2, when the team takes on the Jets at home. The veteran safety is dealing with a hip injury after having spent much of August sidelined due to general soreness. In Adams' stead, Julius Wood will work as Tennessee's No. 2 strong safety versus Chicago.
