Claimed by Detroit The Lions claimed Mills off waivers from the Texans on Wednesday.

Impact Mills was waived by the Texans on Tuesday, just three days after being signed off the practice squad to the active roster. Now that he's with the Lions, Mills will give the team a much-needed boost in an injury-depleted secondary that consists of Kerby Joseph (knee), Brian Branch (Achilles) and Thomas Harper (concussion).
