Passes physical Hummel (hand) has been activated off the active/non-football injury list, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Impact After being sidelined the first week of training camp, Hummel is ready to start practicing. The 26-year-old spent the first three years of his career with the Rams before signing with Baltimore in March. He has been a special-teams player throughout the majority of his career and will likely play a similar role for the Ravens.

Impact Hummel appears to have suffered the injury during Thursday's practice, as he did not have an injury tag to begin the week. He was already ruled out for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay prior to the move to injured reserve, but he'll now miss at least the next four weeks. Hummel played exclusively on special teams through seven games, racking up four total tackles.
