Jahan Dotson - NFL News, Rumors, & Updates

Reaches end zone in defeat Dotson caught three of five targets for 87 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 31-23 loss to Chicago.

Impact Dotson led the team in receiving yards, and his most notable moment of the game came in the second quarter when he connected with quarterback Michael Penix for a 13-yard touchdown. The wide receiver has now reeled in multiple passes in three straight contests, exceeding 50 receiving yards in each of those games, and he appears to have distanced himself as the team's No. 2 option behind Drake London at his position.

Reels in 36-yard catch in OT loss Dotson caught two of four passes for 54 yards during the Falcons' 30-23 overtime loss to the Ravens on Sunday.

Impact Dotson was responsible for the Falcons' second-longest play of the game, when he connected with Michael Penix (ribs) on a 36-yard pass late in the second quarter that led to a five-yard touchdown pass from Penix to Kyle Pitts three players later. Dotson finished as the Falcons' second-leading receiver behind Drake London (118), though Dotson's four targets were fourth-most on Atlanta behind London (11), Bijan Robinson (seven) and Pitts (six). Dotson is up to an 8-149-1 receiving line on 18 targets through five regular-season games, although the scoring ceilings for the Falcons pass catchers would be lower if Tua Tagovailoa is under center instead of Penix for Week 6 against the Bears on Oct. 18.

Hauls in long TD pass vs. New Orleans Dotson caught two of three passes for 54 yards and a touchdown during the Falcons' 45-24 win over the Saints on Monday.

Impact Falcons running backs Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson were responsible for five of the team's six offensive touchdowns during Monday's blowout win, with the duo combining for 207 yards on 33 carries. Dotson was the only pass catcher to get in on the scoring action, with the fifth-year wideout connecting with Michael Penix on a 31-yard touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter to extend Atlanta's lead to 38-17. It was Dotson's first touchdown since Week 8 of the 2025 season, and he's up to a 6-95-1 receiving line (on 14 targets) through the first four games of the 2026 regular season. Up next for the Falcons is a Week 5 home tilt against the Ravens, whose secondary could be without veteran outside cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf).

Just one catch in TNF victory Dotson caught one pass on three targets for 11 yards during the Falcons' 35-14 win over the Packers on Thursday.

Impact Dotson's three targets from Michael Penix were actually second-most on the Falcons behind Drake London (10), with Dotson finishing tied for the third-most receiving yards on the team. He's played over 60 percent of offensive snaps in each of the first three games of the regular season but has a 4-41-0 receiving line (on 11 targets) to show for it. That said, Dotson's scoring floor could steadily increase as the season progresses and Penix gets more reps under his belt. The Falcons will stay on the road for a Week 4 NFC South tilt against the Saints on Monday, Oct. 5.

Two catches in blowout loss Dotson caught two of four targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the Falcons.

Impact Dotson was on the field for 52 of the team's 69 offensive snaps, but it didn't really matter much as the Falcons' put together another putrid offensive performance. The wide receiver will look to be more productive with Michael Penix (knee) making his return to action Thursday night against the Packers.

Catches one pass in Week 1 Dotson caught one of three targets for 19 yards in Atlanta's 20-13 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.

Impact Dotson acted as the clear WR2 behind Drake London, out-snapping rookie Zachariah Branch 38 to 18. Olamide Zaccheaus also played 18 offensive snaps. Dotson ran 19 routes to Zaccheaus' nine and Branch's six. None of these three figure to have any fantasy viability as long as all three of London, Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson are healthy.

Three receptions in preseason finale Dotson caught all three of his targets for 27 yards in Friday's 17-12 preseason win over the Dolphins.

Impact Dotson accounted for three of Tua Tagovailoa's seven completions while Atlanta's starters were in the game, with three going to TE Kyle Pitts and one going to RB Brian Robinson. Offensive stars Bijan Robinson and Drake London sat out the preseason finale, but Dotson's involvement Friday suggests the 2022 first-round pick of the Commanders is positioned as the Falcons' No. 2 wideout behind London heading into the regular season.
