Here's what was going on with all 32 NFL teams the last time that the Patriots and Seahawks met in the Super Bowl (Feb. 2015).

Where All 32 NFL Teams Stood When Seahawks and Patriots Last Met in Super Bowl
Greg Newsome II - Finishes 2025 season with Jags Newsome appeared in 17 regular-season games between the Browns (five games) and Jaguars (12 games) in 2025 and accumulated 52 tackles (41 solo) and nine pass defenses (one intercep...
Impact Newsome started the season on the Jaguars before being traded to the Jaguars in early October. He played a key role in both team's defenses, and despite dealing with shoulder, hamstring an ankle injuries throughout the season, he ended the 2025 campaign with a career high in total tackles. Newsome enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent and should attract offers from teams looking to upgrade their secondary.

DaVon Hamilton - Tackling production drops in 2025 Hamilton recorded 38 tackles (15 solo), including 1.0 sacks, across 17 regular-season games with the Jaguars in 2025.
Impact Hamilton was coming off a productive 2024 campaign in which he logged 62 total tackles over 17 regular-season games. He saw his tackling numbers dip significantly in 2025, which was in part due to a noticeable decrease in defensive snaps. Hamilton enters 2026 in the final year of his three-year, $34.5 million contract extension that he signed with Jacksonville in April of 2023.
FEBRUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Travon Walker - Sack total plummets in 2025 Walker posted 38 tackles (19 solo), including 3.5 sacks, and two pass defenses across 14 regular-season games in 2025 with the Jaguars.
Impact The Jaguars exercised Walker's fifth-year option in April after he logged double-digit sacks in both 2023 and 2024. However, the fourth-year pro came nowhere close to that level of production in 2025, though that decreased production can be partially attributed to him dealing with wrist and knee injuries throughout the season. The 2026 season is the last year of Walker's contract, and it's possible that Jacksonville lets the 2022 first-rounder play out his rookie deal rather than offer an extension.
FEBRUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Dennis Gardeck - Career-high stops in 2025 Gardeck logged 48 tackles (28 solo), including 2.5 sacks, two pass defenses and one forced fumble across 17 regular-season games for the Jaguars in 2025.
Impact Gardeck ended the 2024 regular season on the Cardinals' injured reserve after tearing his ACL in October. He caught on with the Jaguars on a one-year deal in 2025 and progressed enough in his recovery to be available for Week 1. He worked in a rotational role on defense, and while his sack total was his lowest over his last three years, he finished with a career high in tackles while appearing in every single game for the Jaguars, including in the AFC wild-card round against the Bills. Gardeck is an unrestricted free agent but could remain in Jacksonville.
FEBRUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Jarrian Jones - Slight bump in production in 2025 Jones played in 17 regular-season games for the Jaguars in 2025 and finished with 49 tackles (35 solo), eight pass defenses (three interceptions) and one fumble recovery.
Impact Jones mostly served on special teams from Weeks 3 to 7, but he was more heavily involved in the secondary following the Week 8 bye, which coincided with No. 2 overall pick Travis Hunter being placed on injured reserve after tearing his ACL. Although Jones started in just two of the last 10 games of the regular season, he still played in at least 50 percent of the Jaguars' defensive snaps in nine of those contests and ended that season with the third-most interceptions on the team behind Devin Lloyd and Antonio Johnson (five each). Jones' role on the Jaguars' defense in 2026 will largely depend on Hunter's snap count on both sides of the ball.
FEBRUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Montaric Brown - Tackling numbers dip in 2025 Brown recorded 51 tackles (43 solo) and 12 pass defenses (two interceptions) across 15 regular-season games for the Jaguars in 2025.
Impact Brown led the Jaguars with 12 pass defenses and played a key role in the secondary as a slot corner, but he saw his tackling numbers decline from 2024, when he registered 75 stops (55 solo) across 17 regular-season contests. The 2022 seventh-rounder will be entering the fourth year of his rookie contract and is eligible for an extension.
FEBRUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Brenton Strange - Finishes with career high in yards Strange finished the 2025 season with 46 catches for 540 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games.
Impact Strange became the number one tight end for the Jaguars in 2025 after Evan Engram signed with Denver in free agency. In his expanded role, Strange set a career-high in receiving yards and touchdowns (540 yards and three touchdowns) despite missing five games due to a hip injury that landed him on injured reserve. The 25-year-old will look to build on his career season entering 2026.
FEBRUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Eric Murray - Overcomes neck injury in 2025 Murray logged 54 tackles (32 solo), including 1.0 sacks, six pass defenses (one interception) and one forced fumble across 12 regular-season games for the Jaguars in 2025.
Impact Murray inked a three-year, $22.5 million contract with the Jaguars in 2025 after spending the five prior seasons with the AFC South rival Texans. He served as the Jaguars' starting safety, but he was sidelined for five games after being placed on injured reserve in October due to a neck injury. Murray was cleared to return in early November and returned to his starting role over the final six games of the season, including the Jaguars' AFC wild-card loss to the Bills. He should start at safety in 2026, though who will start next to him remains to be seen as Andrew Wingard will enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent.
FEBRUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Bhayshul Tuten - Maintains backup role Tuten finished the 2025 season with 307 yards and five touchdowns on 83 rushing attempts. He also had 10 catches for 79 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games.
Impact A finger injury kept Tuten out for two games in 2025. When available, the fourth-round rookie carried the ball in every game he appeared in during the season, with his most impactful game occurring in Week 11 when he had 15 attempts. Travis Etienne remained the starter for the entirety of the season, but he is expected to be an unrestricted free agent in March. Should Etienne leave, Tuten could have an opportunity for a larger role in 2026.
FEBRUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Nick Mullens - Minimal action in 2025 Mullens completed all three of his passing attempts for 19 yards while appearing in five games for the Jaguars in 2025. He also had 12 rushing attempts for minus-8 yards.
Impact Mullens won the backup quarterback job in Jacksonville after signing with the team in March. He maintained the role through the entire 2025 season and played a total of 36 offensive snaps. The eight-year veteran is entering his final season under contract with the Jaguars and is expected to compete for the backup role once again.
