Waived with injury designation The Chargers waived Merrill (undisclosed) with an injury designation Monday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Impact Merrill will revert to the Chargers' injured reserve list if he clears waivers. He signed as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas State last year and appeared in four games as a rookie, recording four tackles across 36 defensive snaps.
