Impact The 2023 seventh-round pick spent all of 2023 on the Vikings' practice squad and did not see any NFL action. McBride entered training camp competing for a depth spot in the backfield, but Minnesota opted to keep just two running backs -- Aaron Jones and Ty Chandler -- on the 53-man roster. McBride could be promoted to the active roster should Jones or Chandler miss time, but it's not guaranteed due to the Vikings also signing Myles Gaskin to the taxi squad.
