Impact Williams will make his return to the field Sunday after missing the team's Week 17 win over the Colts with a toe injury. The cornerback will return to his role as a depth option with New York's secondary and special-teams unit.

Impact Williams popped up on Thursday's injury report as a DNP due to a toe injury. He was able to log a limited practice Friday, but the injury is severe enough for him to be sidelined Sunday. Art Green and Cor'Dale Flott will serve as the Giants' backup outside corners behind Adoree' Jackson and Deonte Banks due to Williams' injury.

Impact Williams, who was waived by the Seahawks on Thursday, appeared in all 12 of Seattle's games before being waived, recording 254 kick return and 111 punt return yards while playing almost strictly on special-teams (four defensive snaps and 131 on special teams). He'll likely play a similar role with the Giants and could serve as the team's top return man in a Week 14 matchup against the Saints.

Impact The wide receiver can still return during training camp because he moved to the active/NFI list before camp started, per Boyle. Williams signed with Seattle in May after going undrafted. The former defensive back caught just two passes for 10 yards at Tennessee in his first season as a receiver last year, but he did find a role as a punt and kick returner.
