Lands on Packers' PS The Packers signed Bankston to the practice squad Wednesday.

Impact Bankston was waived by the Giants on Aug. 29 but will now get another opportunity with the Packers, albeit as a member of the practice squad. The 23-year-old capped off his final collegiate season by amassing 635 yards and five touchdowns off 114 carries, adding 31 catches for 397 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games at New Mexico in 2025.

Impact Since joining New York as an undrafted rookie in May, Bankston ended up ranking second on the team in rushing (73 yards on 21 carries) this preseason behind Eric Gray (90 yards). It wasn't enough to land on the Giants' initial 53-man roster, but he'll be a candidate to land on a team's practice squad if he clears waivers.
