Impact After missing the 49ers' first five games while recovering from a high-ankle sprain, Robinson returned to practice Wednesday. The 49ers apparently came away encouraged by how Robinson checked out during those three sessions, so he looks as though he could get the chance to make his 2022 debut Sunday in Atlanta. The 24-year-old is projected to serve as a depth option at linebacker.

Impact It's unclear when the 24-year-old sustained this injury, but his next opportunity to play should come during San Francisco's preseason matchup against the Vikings on Aug. 20. Robinson exclusively on special teams (37 snaps) over the final three regular-season games for the 49ers in 2021 before re-signing with the team in January.
