Impact Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports that general manager Ryan Poles stated that the Bears will "remain flexible" on both Bryant and tight end Hayden Large (undisclosed) as they manage their injuries. Bryant will likely need to miss at least four months due to the knee surgery he underwent on Aug. 11. If the free safety recovers quickly, he could return to the team sometime in late December to help with a potential playoff push.
