Impact Bryant opened the season on the Falcons' practice squad, and he got his first taste of regular-season action for Atlanta in Week 11 against Carolina, when he logged one solo tackle while playing 14 snaps (11 on defense, three on special teams). Bryant will now join the active roster and give the Falcons a boost in the secondary after Billy Bowman (Achilles) was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move.

Activated from NFI Bryant (undisclosed) was removed from the active/non-football injury list Tuesday after passing a physical, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.

Impact Bryant will be able to participate in practices and preseason games now that he is off the NFI list. He signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent in May, and while making the 53-man roster is unlikely, he'll have the opportunity to at least compete for a spot on the practice squad.
