Back with Big Blue
Board agreed to a contract with the Giants on Monday, Michael Eisen of the Giants' official website reports.
Impact
Board played in the first six games of the 2021 campaign. He caught four passes for 51 yards and averaged 24.8 yards on 11 kickoff returns and 16.5 yards on two punt returns. However, he fractured his arm during a blowout loss to the Rams on Oct. 17, which landed him on injured reserve for the rest of the season. Nonetheless, the undrafted wideout out of Chattanooga figures to be healthy and ready to contribute by training camp.

Shifts to injured reserve
Board (arm) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Michael Elsen of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact
Board fractured his arm during Sunday's loss to the Rams, so it's hardly a surprise to see him move to injured reserve. The 27-year-old will be eligible to return from injured reserve after missing three games, though he's likely facing a longer absence.

Not returning Sunday
Board (forearm) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Rams, according to Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site.
Impact
Board got hurt badly after a 37-yard kickoff return and trainers ran to him very quickly. The fact that they signaled for the cart almost immediately is not a good sign, and the entire team quickly approached Board to wish him well as if he had suffered a serious injury. His next chance to play will come next Sunday against Carolina, but that would depend on the severity of the injury.

Catches two passes in loss
Board secured two of his three targets for seven yards in Sunday's 44-20 loss to the Cowboys.
Impact
Board played 31 percent of the Giants' offensive snaps Sunday. The wideout was unable to make the most of his opportunities in a game that New York trailed for the majority of the contest. Things could open up for Board to become more involved in the passing game while teammate Kenny Golladay is sidelined with a knee injury, especially if Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton continue to miss time with hamstring injuries. The Giants host the Rams in Week 6.

Will practice Wednesday
Coach Joe Judge said Board (shoulder) will be a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact
Board left Week 4 after suffering a clavicle injury, but he appears to have avoided a serious injury. The 27-year-old hasn't been a critical part of the Giants' offense this season, but with Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton both nursing hamstring injuries, the Giants can't afford to lose any more wide receiver depth.

Nursing clavicle injury
Board (shoulder) suffered a clavicle injury during Sunday's 27-21 win over the Saints, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Impact
Board wasn't targeted before being forced out of Sunday's game. Beyond the nature of his shoulder injury relating to his clavicle, the Giants haven't released many specifics about the wideout's health. The results of Board's X-rays, when disclosed, will paint a clearer picture. With Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) both already hurt, this is a team that can't afford to lose more pass catching depth.

Injures shoulder Sunday
Board (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Saints, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact
After playing 20 offensive snaps and catching one of two targets for 38 yards in Week 3, Board didn't see a target in Week 4. The 27-year-old left the contest late in the second half with a shoulder injury and is unlikely to return. With Jabrill Peppers (hamstring) already ruled out, rookie Kadarius Toney may take over return duties for the remainder of the contest.

Catches 38-yard pass
Board caught one of his two targets for 38 yards Sunday against the Falcons.
Impact
Board saw more snaps with Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton nursing hamstring injuries. Should they miss time, Board could see more work, but Kenny Golladay, Collin Johnson, Evan Engram and Kadarius Toney would still likely be ahead of him in the passing-game pecking order.

Goes back to practice squad
Board reverted to the Giants' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Impact
For the second week in a row, Board was a part of the action on game day. Only this time, it was eventful, and not in a good way. While he had one six-yard carry and returned one kickoff for 20 yards Thursday at Washington, Board also committed a holding penalty on what otherwise would have been a 58-yard TD run by quarterback Daniel Jones. The Giants ended up settling for a field goal on the drive, and the four-point swing may have been enough in the eventual one-point loss. On a positive note, Board's average kick return this season has gone for 28.7 yards on three attempts, so that may be enough for him to get back on the active roster again in the future.
