Picked up by Houston The Texans signed Freeman on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Impact Freeman tried out with the team during rookie minicamp back in May, and now he's getting his first NFL contract after going undrafted out of Connecticut. At this point, it's believed that he was brought on board primarily to afford veteran Ka'imi Fairbairn more reps off during practice.
