Role remains consistent Brooks had one carry for three yards in Thursday's 34-31 loss to the Lions.

Impact The Packers leaned heavily on starting running back Josh Jacobs again, and both Brooks and fellow reserve Emanuel Wilson finished with only one carry apiece. Brooks and Wilson continue seeing a similar number of touches, but Brooks has been spending more time on the field, out-snapping Wilson in six straight contests -- and quite comfortably in each of the last four.

Stays involved Thursday Brooks took three carries for 28 yards and caught both of his two targets for one yard during Thursday's 30-17 win versus the Dolphins.

Impact Brooks continued to be more involved in the offense than teammate Emanuel Wilson in Week 13, and he collected five touches for the second straight contest. Even still, Josh Jacobs continues to see the lion's share of the Packers' backfield work both on running and passing downs, so Brooks' path to fantasy relevance in 2024 probably requires Jacobs missing time.

Impact Brooks finished second among Packers running backs in snaps for the fourth time in as many chances, but he was the third Green Bay running back to get a touch in Week 12, and he finished with five touches compared to Emanuel Wilson's nine. Both running backs figure to continue working in behind starter Josh Jacobs, who is handling the lion's share of the work in Green Bay's backfield.

Impact Brooks did not tally a carry Sunday and was the third Packers running back to enter the contest, but for the third time in as many he finished with more snaps than fellow reserve Emanuel Wilson, who was on the field for only three offensive plays in Week 11. One of the two remains the backup behind Josh Jacobs with the return of MarShawn Lloyd (ankle/appendix) again delayed, but it's tough to say to pinpoint exactly which is the No. 2 back.

Impact Brooks made some noise for the third time in four games, and although he finished relatively even with fellow backup Emanuel Wilson in both the snaps and touches categories, he was the first running back to enter the game behind starter Josh Jacobs, and he could have matched Wilson in the touchdown column had he and quarterback Jordan Love connected on a short pass in the first quarter. Brooks is gaining momentum, but the Packers are on bye in Week 10 and could get back rookie MarShawn Lloyd (ankle) before they take the field again, so Brooks may not be a priority addition quite yet.

Impact Brooks saw his first work since joining the Packers in early September, but he did not take a carry until Green Bay's final drive when the outcome was all but decided. Impact Brooks will now have the opportunity to sign with another team once he can clear the league's concussion protocols, instead of spending the 2024 campaign on injured reserve. The BYU product appeared in nine regular-season games for Miami last season, gaining 106 yards on 19 carries.

Impact Brooks was waived with an injury designation Tuesday after suffering a concussion at practice Aug. 19. The running back will now be forced to miss the entirety of the 2024 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Dolphins down the road.
