Perfect on six kicks vs. Indianapolis Boswell made both of his field-goal attempts and went 4-for-4 on extra-point tries during the Steelers' 34-22 win over the Colts on Sunday.

Impact Boswell's 48-yard field goal late in the second quarter gave the Steelers a 17-13 halftime lead, and the veteran kicker finished Sunday's scoring with a 54-yard field goal late in the fourth. The Steelers' offense under QB Aaron Rodgers has looked significantly better over the past three weeks, which will help with Boswell's scoring floor. He's 9-for-12 on field-goal attempts and 10-for-10 on extra-point tries through five games heading into a Week 6 road tilt against the Buccaneers on Oct. 18.

Impact Both of Boswell's FG tries came in the second quarter; he missed a 48-yarder midway through the period before making a 31-yarder just before halftime. The missed kick ended up being costly, as the Steelers lost by three points on a last-second Andre Szmyt field goal. Boswell has struggled a bit to begin the campaign, going 7-for-10 on FG attempts but making all six of his PAT tries though three games. All of his misses so far have come from at least 48 yards, so he's been reliable from shorter ranges.

Impact Boswell missed one kick in each of the first two games of the regular season, but he was perfect during Sunday's win. He connected on field goals from 44, 36 and 33 yards, the last of which occurred just before the two-minute warning of the fourth quarter and gave Pittsburgh the lead for good. It appears the Steelers' offense may have figured something out in Week 3, and that continued success would raise Boswell's scoring floor over the coming weeks.
