Gets new deal Hansen was signed to a reserve/future contract with the Falcons on Monday, Scott Bair of the Falcons' official site reports.

Impact Hansen signed with the Falcons' practice squad on Dec. 21 after a stint with the Saints. He was selected in the fourth round by the Jets in the 2017 draft and last saw regular-season action with the Texans in 2020, when he recorded 17 receptions on 24 targets for 236 yards and a touchdown.

Signs with practice squad Hansen was signed to the Falcons' practice squad Tuesday.

Impact Hansen has spent time with the Saints and Lions this season but has yet to appear in a game. Selected by the Jets in the fourth round of the 2017 draft, Hansen hasn't had a regular role since his rookie season. He most recently played five games with the Texans in 2020, compiling 17 catches on 24 targets for 236 yards and a touchdown. Hansen will now focus on making the Falcons' active roster before the 2021 season closes, or at least prove he deserves another chance in 2022.
