Settles with Jacksonville The Jaguars waived Bradley (thumb) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Impact The injury settlement allows Bradley to sign and play with a team once he has fully recovered from his thumb injury. He appeared in all three of the Jaguars' preseason games while competing for the QB2 role behind Trevor Lawrence, but the backup job ultimately went to Quinn Ewers after Jacksonville traded for the 2025 seventh-rounder from Miami on Aug. 29.

Impact Bradley was waived/injured Sunday and subsequently reverted to IR after going unclaimed on waivers. Impact Bradley played in all three preseason games for the Jaguars, completing 24 of his 45 pass attempts (53 percent) for 233 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. The Jaguars traded for second-year quarterback Quinn Ewers on Saturday, making Bradley's role as the reserve option obsolete. The quarterback will now be placed on waivers, and if he clears will revert to the Jaguars' injured reserve list. If Bradley reverts to IR, he will miss the entirety of the 2026 regular season unless he is waived with an injury settlement.

Impact Bradley spent the campaign on the Jaguars' practice squad, and he'll remain with the organization throughout at least the coming offseason. The South Alabama product has yet to make his NFL debut, but he'll give Jacksonville some QB depth and get a chance to complete for a roster spot ahead of the 2026 campaign.

Impact Bradley suffered an undisclosed injury during training camp in late August, but he was able to avoid an IR stint for the entire 2025 season by reaching an injury settlement with the 49ers in early September. The 25-year-old quarterback has seemingly recovered from his undisclosed issue and will now serve as the Jaguars' scout team quarterback after Seth Hanigan was cut from the practice squad. Bradley has yet to see regular-season action since signing with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in April of 2024.
