Impact The tight end was waived/injured Sunday and reverted to IR earlier Monday. Nesbit caught three of six targets for 29 yards across two preseason games before getting injured. He's now free to sign with another team and play in 2026 if he can get healthy enough.

Waived with injury designation by Minnesota The Vikings waived/injured Nesbit (undisclosed) on Sunday, Rob Kleifield of the team's official site reports.

Impact Nesbit participated in the first two preseason games for the Vikings before succumbing to injury, catching three of his six targets for 29 yards. If Nesbit clears waivers, he will revert to the team's injured reserve list, where he will spend the entirety of the 2026 regular season unless he is waived with an injury settlement.

Impact Nesbit didn't hear his name being called during the 2025 NFL Draft but still managed to catch on with the Vikings in late April. He'll participate in offseason activities with Minnesota and aim to crack the 53-man roster for the 2026 campaign.
