Brandon Pili - NFL News, Rumors, & Updates

Back to full practices Pili (neck) was a full practice participant Wednesday and Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Impact Pili didn't play against Washington in Week 3 but appears to be good to go for this Sunday's matchup versus the Chargers. However, he was a nominal part of Seattle's defense over the first two weeks, logging just six defensive snaps and four snaps on special teams.

Won't play against Washington Pili (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Commanders.

Impact Pili drew the questionable tag for Sunday after ending Week 3 prep with back-to-back limited practices. He has not progressed enough in the league's concussion protocol to play against Washington, and his next chance to take the field is Week 4 against the Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 4. Rylie Mills and Mike Morris are both in line to see a slight bump in defensive snaps due to Pili's absence.

Enters concussion protocol Pili (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Cardinals, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Impact Pili has entered the league's concussion protocol and will miss the rest of Sunday's game. The defensive tackle will need to progress through the five-step protocol and be cleared by an independent neurologist to return to the field. Rylie Mills is now the sole reserve defensive tackle for the Seahawks in Sunday's game.

Exits with potential concussion Pili (head) is being evaluated for a potential concussion after exiting Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Impact Pili exited the first quarter of Sunday's game with a head injury. The defensive tackle will be evaluated by the Seahawks' coaching staff as well as an independent neurologist to determine if Pili has suffered a concussion or if he is safe to return to the game.

Nursing leg injury Pili missed a third consecutive training camp practice Sunday due to a lower-leg injury, Gregg Bell of The News Tribune reports.

Impact The severity of Pili's injury is unclear, but he'll aim to return to practice before the Seahawks' preseason opener against the Cowboys on Saturday, Aug. 15. He served in a rotational role on the Seahawks' defensive line last year, finishing with 12 tackles (one solo) and one forced fumble recovery across 13 regular-season games. Pili will use training camp as his opportunity to solidify his backup role behind Jarran Reed, with Deven Eastern and Uso Seumalo representing Pili's main competition.
