Impact Haubeil's release from Carolina's practice unit comes less than a week after he was added. He received the opportunity after getting waived by the Titans during training camp. He is now set to look for a new opportunity.

Impact Haubeil was with the Titans in training camp and will now receive an opportunity with the Panthers. He'll be a reserve option should Lirim Hajrullahu be unable to kick for the final two weeks of the season.

Impact The Titans signed Haubeil as an undrafted free agent this offseason after spending his collegiate career at Ohio State. He had his best amateur season in 2019, when he made 13 of his 15 attempts while also connecting on a 55-yard field goal. Meanwhile, McCann spent the 2020 season on the team's practice squad, so he may have a slight advantage over Haubeil heading into training camp.
