Converts four FGs in Week 18 Grupe went 4-for-4 on field-goal attempts and 1-for-1 on point-after tries during Sunday's 27-19 defeat versus Tampa Bay.

Impact Grupe ended his second season on a high note by making four field-goal tries for the first time since Week 1. While he finished with three fewer field-goal makes this season (27) compared to last year (30), the 5-foot-7 kicker showed some improvements from 2023 to 2024, increasing his field goal percentage from 81 percent to 87 percent. Barring any unforeseen injuries or issues, Grupe should return as the Saints' starting kicker for the 2025 campaign.

Impact Grupe converted a 34-yard field-goal attempt that cut the score to 13-10 at the end of the first half. The second-year kicker never got another chance for the rest of the game, as New Orleans was outscored 12-0 in the second half. Impact The the injury-riddled Saints offense was stymied from start to finish and committed turnovers on its few opportunities within field-goal range. As a result, Grupe logged zero field-goal attempts for the third time this season. With quarterback Derek Carr (hand) and/or running back Alvin Kamara (groin) likely to miss at least one or two more games, this offense could be too depleted to support any meaninful fantasy production for Grupe over the final two weeks of the season.

Impact Grupe bounced back after going 0-for-2 on field-goal tries last week. The second-year kicker knocked through field goals on back-to-back drives in the fourth quarter, first hitting from 41 yards out before hitting again from 51 yards. Grupe has now converted 22 of 26 field-goal tries this season, and he's gone 14-for-16 on attempts of 40-plus yards. The Saints will next play versus the Packers on Monday, Dec. 23.

Misses two FGs in win Grupe went 0-for-2 on field-goal attempts and 2-for-2 on point-after tries during Sunday's 14-11 win over the Giants.

Impact Grupe failed to convert two field-goal tries of 50-plus yards, first missing wide left on a 53-yarder in the first quarter. He then had a 60-yard attempt blocked as time expired at the end of the first half. The second-year kicker has been steady this season, and he'd previously done well from long distance, going a perfect 5-for-5 on tries of 50-plus over the first 12 games. But, Grupe's strulgged as of late with now three missed field-goal tries over the last two weeks. He'll look to bounce back next week versus Washington on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Grupe is a perfect 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts from 50-plus yards, and on the year he's converted 20 of 22 field-goal tries and 26 of 28 extra-point attempts through 12 regular-season games.
