Bound for injured reserve Spector (calf) reverted to Buffalo's injured reserve list Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Impact Spector wasn't claimed by another team after he was waived by the Bills on Wednesday with an injury designation. He'll go on the Bills' IR, which will force him to sit out for the entire 2025 season unless he can reach an injury settlement with the team. Spector appeared in 11 regular-season games (four starts) for the Bills in 2024 and posted 40 tackles (22 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery.

Waived-injured Spector (calf) was designated as waived/injured Wednesday.

Impact Spector's time in Buffalo has come to an end as he has dealt with injuries ever since being drafted in 2022. The 26-year-old has made a decent impact when healthy, tallying 40 tackles, but has never played more than 11 games in a season due to injuries. His current calf injury stems all the way back to Week 10 of last season, which caused him to miss the remainder of the regular season and playoffs.

Leaves practice early Spector (calf) exited practice early on Monday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Spector has been dealing with a calf injury since Week 10 of the 2024 season, which caused him to miss nine games total. The 26-year-old appears to have re-aggravated the injury Monday, after he had returned to practice earlier in the offseason, toward the end of July. Despite his struggles staying healthy, the 2022 seventh-round pick accounted for 40 tackles (22 solo), including 1.5 sacks and a fumble recovery across 11 games played in 2024.

Past calf injury Spector (calf) participated in Wednesday's practice, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Impact Spector dealt with a calf injury for the entire 2024 season, which caused him to miss nine games (including the Bills' three playoff games). He looks to be fully healthy for the start of training camp, and Glab relays that the 2022 seventh-rounder made a strong impression during Wednesday's practice. Although injuries limited his playing time in 2024, Spector still finished the regular season with a career-high 40 tackles (22 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery across 11 games.

Limited to 11 games in 2024 Spector (calf) tallied 40 total tackles (22 solo), including 1.5 sacks, across 11 regular-season games in 2024.

Impact Spector dealt with a calf issue for the entirety of his 2024 campaign, sustaining the injury in August and missing nine of the Bills' games, including their three playoff contests. However, the third-year linebacker was relatively productive when healthy, posting career highs in tackles, sacks and defensive snaps played (278). Spector is entering the final season of his rookie deal in 2025 and will likely remain one of the Bills' top reserve linebackers, with starters Terrel Bernard and Matt Milano still under contract next season.

Won't play in AFC Championship Game Spector (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Chiefs.

Impact Spector was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday and was a full participant in all three practices this week. However, the 2022 seventh-round pick has not progressed enough in his recovery from a calf injury to play in Sunday's playoff bout. Joe Andreessen will continue to start at linebacker alongside Terrel Bernard and Matt Milano while Spector remains on IR.

Practice window opens The Bills designated Spector (calf) to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Spector suffered a calf injury during the Bills' Week 16 win over the Patriots, which was severe enough for him to be placed on injured reserve. He's placement on IR resulted in him missing the last two games of the regular season and the first two games of the playoffs. Spector can participate in practice Thursday and Friday, though he would have to be activated from IR in order to play in Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Chiefs.

Placd on IR due to calf injury The Bills placed Spector (calf) on injured reserve Tuesday.

Impact Spector suffered a calf injury in the third quarter of this past Sunday's 24-21 win over the Patriots, and the issue is severe enough for him to warrant a stint on injured reserve. He'll be required to miss at least the next four games, which means he will not be available for the Bills' final two contests of the 2024 regular season. However, Spector could return for the postseason if Buffalo makes a deep playoff run. Spector will finish the 2024 regular season with 40 tackles (22 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery across 11 games.

Lands on injured reserve Buffalo placed Spector (calf) on injured reserve Saturday, Chris Jenkins of the team's official site reports.

Impact Spector landed on the injury report Friday and logged a limited practice that day due to a calf injury. It appears that the issue is somewhat serious given that the linebacker has been placed on IR one day later. Spector's role has fluctuated this season -- for example, he logged every one of the the Bills' defensive snaps in Week 8 versus Seattle with Terrel Bernard sidelined but played exclusively on special teams one week later against Miami upon Bernard's return.

Impact Spector popped up on the Bills' injury report Friday as a limited participant due to a calf issue, and it now appears his status for Sunday's contest is in question. If the third-year pro cannot play through the pain in Week 10, expect Joe Andreessen to see increased work with Buffalo's first-team defense.
