RB Gus Edwards to miss at least first 4 games for Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have put running back Gus Edwards on the reserve/physically unable to perform list, meaning he’ll miss at least the first four games of the regular season

Back at practice Tuesday Gaither (undisclosed) returned to practice Tuesday, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Impact Gaither left practice early last Monday due to an undisclosed issue but is back at practice this week. The second-year receiver signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2021 but briefly retired before joining the USFL in 2022. If healthy, he'll likely get a few snaps during Sunday's preseason matchup in Arizona.

Leaves camp session premature Gaither (undisclosed) left Monday's practice early, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Impact Gaither walked to the locker room after the special teams portion of practice, spending a few minutes trying to get stretched out before heading inside. The second-year receiver has had a bumpy road over the past year, as he signed with the Packers in 2021 as an undrafted free agent but then retired during last year's training camp. Gaither came out of retirement in 2022 to play for the Pittsburgh Maulers in the USFL, and he ultimately joined the Ravens in July. It remains to be seen if the 25-year-old can be cleared to play ahead of Thursday's preseason game against the Titans.

Returns from retirement Gaither signed a contract with the Ravens on Wednesday.

Impact Gaither signed with the Packers in May of 2021 as an undrafted free agent, but he then opted to retire that August. He'll now work to earn a spot in the Ravens' wide receiver corps.
